Hello everyone first post here,

I wasn't sure where to post this so I'll ask here, I'm about to try bottling using a second fermenter and adding dextrose as the primer instead of manually adding the 6g caster sugar per bottle using the old sugar dispenser.

So far I've figured out I need to sterelize the second fermenter, I know exactly how many longneck bottles it is so 21 x 6g of dextrose, throw it in stir and then put the lid back on and bottle ?

Is that how it's done?

Thanks.

Hey mate

Search for bulk priming, there is lots of info on here.

Basically you boil your required amount of dex with water to sanatize, dump into a sanatized fermenter then rack your beer on top - leave for 30 mins then bottle as norm.
