Wow!
Talk about a dash to the post; they've sold over US$30,000 worth of gear in the last 2 1/2 days.
There must have been people sitting back waiting to see how viable the project is, or they've just benefitted from some late media coverage.

Given this level of interest, I'm sure there will be an ongoing market for fully automated brewing machines and probably a few more market contenders. It makes one wonder why the big names in brewing have not had the initiative, or if they'll buy in now or soon. The pricing level, for similar machines, will now likely rest somewhere just under US$2k for units produced in Europe or the US... and then there will be the clones... just wait for China's manufacturers to get wind of it all and start producing cheap knock-offs, as has been the case with so many other products; 3D printers, CNC machines, and whatever happens to be in the advert at the bottom of this page (generators in my case).

What will the next generation of machine be capable of? All grain brewed beer on-tap? Marry the Brewie with a conical fermenter come keg, ala WW (from NZ), and it's not a big reach.

thanks for all the work on providing info, very useful mate!
