Has anyone made a pilsner (CAP) with rice and nelson sauvin hops.
Yes i know it isnt to style but who cares

Possibly
75% weyermann pils
25% rice or corn

NS FWH to 25 ibu
5 ibu at 5 mins

Clean lager yeast

No chill, havent tried yet so will give it a go as i dont have any yeast ready
 
Yep - similar recipe

65% Galaxy
25% Maize
10% Munich

mashed at 64

NS to 40IBU with lots late - I used 10gms of Centennial at flame out as well

S-189 at 10 Deg C for 3 weeks 1.051 to 1.008

I cant find my tasting notes on this one - but here is a picture (surely worth a thousand words) -

I brewed this one about 6 months ago, it was great, fresh crisp and very fruity. Apart from being 6.1% it was a great summers day quafer. I will definitly brew this one again but at ~5%

4 kg galaxy malt
1 kg rice

20g Chinook 90 mins

500g tub rice malt syrup

US-05 at 17 degrees

Bottled a six in Corona Bottles for my son in law, he raved.

I'm doing something similar with 20g superpride and Weihenstephan lager yeast in primary at the moment. Nelson sauvin, why not :super:
