Hey lads,

My first ag is in the fridge fermenting away at 17 degrees and the airlock is going crazy. All I can think is that its from aerating the wort which i have never done before or is this just a crazy yeast? I used wyeast 1056 american ale.

Lots of fresh nutrients in all grain, well done on first AG

Probably a combination of 3 things. Plenty of nutrients, as GreggJ said, aerating the wort and using good liquid yeast. It will probably be all done after 4 or 5 days.

Welcome to the dark side! :D

Edit: grammar
