I know of Boonie's LCPA (just bottled mine) and I might try Dr Smurto's Golden Ale next. These seem to be two highly regarded kit brews. What else is up there? Top 5 perhaps...

Not talking about the rest of the community's opinion/popularity-wise. But I did the Cooper celebration ale toucan recipe recently and accidentally put in a entire box of dextrose (so 1kg total, instead of the specified kg). It's an 8.9% beer but boy it is highly drinkable and impresses a lot of my mates who come around!

I reckon a Thomas Coopers Irish Stout toucan would have to be up there. :icon_drool2:

If there was one kit beer I would happily make again, that is it.

EB Porter (I call it SteveL's EB Porter but I'm not 100% sure where it originates from)
21 litres
Coopers English Bitter
1kg LDM
250g Dark Brown Sugar
300g Choc Malt (600 EBC)
250g Medium Crystal(120 EBC)
100g Roasted Barely
14g S04 (if I made it again I use Thames Valley Ale)

Get your hands on a copy of "Brewing Classic Styles", every recipe in there is an award-winning extract recipe.

Is there any where I can find kit/extract recipes? Didn't think the question deserved its own thread so thought this was the best place to ask.

Try the recipes link at top of page

Sorry guys, I'm on the iPad app and mostly use this. Just jumped on the computer and the normal website I can see the recipes. Thanks
