I am at work and can not get my hands on my Wyeast 1388 Belgian Strong Wyeast pak. Could someone please tell me what the recomended max OG of the wort should be for pitching this product straight into the fermenter. Is it 1.065?
As I am planning to do a Duvel clone with and OG 1.073 I was wondering if the longer lag time would help duplicate the yeasty flavours of this Begian Strong? Otherwise I could leave out the sugar from the boil, thus reducing the pitchable OG and add the sugar when I rack?
So many options <_<
