Hey,

Any one got any recipes for a mango wheatbeer.

Tasted some at the weekend and wanna give it a go.

At this stage im still using kits so any ideas would be appreciated.

Try a wheat kit, with 1kg LDME + 300g Dex, then add mango straight into the fermenter!
Chop it up into cubes or whatever, then either straight in or in a bag first.

If you tasted it at the Lowenbrau, the mango is added to the glass after the beer is poured.

Not brewed together...FYI

yes into a bag first. its breaks down heaps and will cause grief come bottling time. i added 2kg worth of mango to the secondary and left it for 2weeks. Came out ok in the end. Next time im gonna add it just before fermentation is over.
