Just got my hands on a pair of new perlick 650s for chrissy.

ive disassembled and cleaned the manufacturing residue from them, so now im ready to lube em up and install em, so before i do so, what parts do i need to give a touch of the lubri-film?

is it the round ball sealing thing at the bottom of the handle piece or does that stay lube free? or the forward end of the FC cylinder bit?

anywhere else that needs it?

cheers

Nice one, I have the same, very nice taps.

I just lube all orings. Pull them all out, there are a few.

Cheers

I dont, but you reasonably could....

Really, the lube isnt going to contaminate the beer as far as I am aware, so go nuts if it tickles the fancy. Might probably be better.

Though the main thing is to keep the orings in good nick as they keep the beer in the right place

cheers,

so you dont actually give any of the moving parts a bit?
there's not much in the way of moving parts just some movement on the O rings. Use a foam stable grease like the skerra one or the micromatic one, rather than a water based lube which is useless in beer taps.

No affil, just a happy happy customer but the Skerra lube is THE BEST. I use it for everything and have found internal o rings on my flow control perlicks to still be lubed adequately every 6 months when I strip them apart for a good clean.

Also on keg posts being connected and reconnected over and over I find you wouldn't need to lube that often and a tiny tiny amount goes a loooooooooong way.
