I have been told that to convert Lovibond to SRM it has to be doubled IE 120L=240SRM is this Correct. Seems too simple to be true.

do you feel the pull of a syphon???????

Lovibond and SRM are pretty much the same thing.
Lovibond is used to detail the colour of Malts, while SRM is used to detail the colour of the resultant brew.

Beers,

Altstart,

Perhaps the person who told you that got SRM and EBC confused. It appears that (in very crude terms) EBC = Lovibond X 2
