My 1st time brewing. Accidentaly added the Brewing Sugar with the yeast ( instead of with the beer concentrate) and mixed the wurt....Have i completely messed it up? Start again?? Let it go?
It's recommended that you sprinkle dried yeast on the surface after mixing the other ingredients but really it doesn't make much difference in my experience. Yesterday I did a two-can kit brew and because I was in a hurry to go out, I cooled it down by tipping half a bag of party ice into the (hot) wort and sprinkled the yeast, then gave it all a good stir up anyway. It's fermenting away like a good 'un today.

It'll be fine. The benefit of adding earlier is that it dissolves better which is really just for you peace of mind as it will dissolve during fermentation anyway.
