I am Considering using a Kegerator Series X as a dedicated fermentation chamber.
Have heard other brewers are doing this, but are using a seperate temperature controller like the ink bird 308.
I don't understand why when the Kegerator has a built in thermostat?
Am I missing something?

I don't have one but as it's a fridge I would guess that the thermostat won't allow you to go above 10C or so.
That's why you would have the Kegerator plugged into the cooling socket of the Inkbird and a heat belt plugged into the heating socket.

Then I have no idea either! 😃
Except that if it is a wifi Inkbird then you can monitor remotely.

The thermostat range on my Kegerator is -5ºC to 28ºC.
But it's still only a fridge. Depending on where you are and what the temp is you still may need a source for heating and something to controll when the heat source turns on and off.
