I recently scored some JS Porter for cheap the other day and really enjoyed the smokey, dry, chocolate malt flavour this beer has.
Id like to make something similiar in extract or AG.
Chocolate malt grains really stand out as an aroma and flavor in this beer.
Can someone please tell me how this is done without adding too much to the bulk and colour of the beer?
Is unfermented extracted grains added post fermentation or something?
