Last Wednesday night my wife and I went to a beer and food matching event at the BrightWater Tavern here on the SunnyCoast.
It turned out to be an interesting and extremely entertaining night. I got to meet the Grand Poobah of brewing Chuck Hahn, a very knowledgeable and entertaining person who took his audience through the finer aspects of tasting and pairing five of James Squire's craftbeer with some fine dishes created by the head Chef.
Had a great discussion about all things brew wise with Jim who works for James Squire.
All in all a great night and well worth the price of admission.
Congratulations to Brightwater Tavern for putting this on ( no affiliation ) and let's see more of these events in the future.
