G'day,

For the West Aussie's I went into Ironbark yesterday and tried his interpretation of Hannan's Lager. Very hoppy, beautiful drop and I'm an ale man. Good kick, 5.5%. He bought the rights to the name, as it was an old Kalgoolie drop, which was redone in the early 90's with slogan unbelievably good beer. Anyone else sampled it?

i was up there a while ago and althoguh i did not try that one i really liked the 'blokes brown' and the vienna was alright aswell!

Ash,I will try the brown, next visit. I had a mid strength Porter there a few years ago and the complexity of the flavour was literally incredible.

I would love to know what someone from Kalgoolie makes of his interpretation of Hannans.
