One of my cubes blew up like a ball, some time ago. It has since returned to it's regular shape, plus a couple of stretch maks.

IIRC, I cleansed and sanitised and left it full of sanitiser and have used it again since, with success, but only once.
I should have turfed it. Actually, I no longer use it for beer, as it now carries water for the hop garden, and does a great job.

How did the beer turn out? I did a double batch and was holding off fermenting 1 of the cubes, went to do it yesterday and it had already started fermenting its self.

It smelt of rotten fruit and it still had roughly the same SG as the other half of the batch.

I ended up putting it into an old fermenter and pitching some yeast.

If it smelled like rotten fruit, I would have done with it the same thing I do with rotting fruit.

It doesn't seem as bad today the smell, starting to smell like normal beer in there.

From rotting fruit to beer. Must be magic hehe!
