Hey guys
Owen Johnston is back in the brewing game with an experimental brewing project...he wants to educate drinkers on how hops are used in brewing and open up the conversation around the difference between whirlpool and dry hop additions. He is hoping to encourage brewers to talk about how much hop oil per hectolitre is used in each step of the process with a couple of new units (WP & DH). He feels this is a better measurement that grams per litre, which doesn't always compare apples with apples.
Anyway, I think this is a fantastic idea and wanted to help get he word out for him via my blog. I went to the launch and recorded some video and beer review with OJ, plus we had a bit of a chat which is transcribed on the page.
If you like it, spread the word, and try and find some of his Ella Pale Ale...its good!
Cheers
Chris
