I have grown chinook hops the last 2 years. Last year they didn't seem to have much smell or bitterness.(first year)
This year however they went beserk and are much more pungent has anyone any idea of the Alfa acids or any idea of a good starting point?
I picked up the rhiozomes of a mmber here in vic so hopefully some other brewers have a similur strain as me.
the cones were mature and have just been air dried.
