Ironically, your best bet may be a fellow Yorkshire man by the name of BribieG. Loves researching bronzed brews.

I suggest you contact a member here, korev, he actually wrote the book Bronzed Brews.

Not suer he hasn't retired but
Dr Brett Stubbs at Sothern Cross University did research on Australian brewing history, might be worth an email

Hi , I`ll happily pop you a recipie (if you could let me know what your brew kit`s like , capacity , efficiency etc) for the the XP Brewing Books I`ve got ; Tetley`s (1934 -41) , or the 1875-76 Dallam Lane (Walker`s), drop me an email to [email protected] with the style of beer you`d like
Tetley`s XP book , has Light Mild , Mild , Light Bitter and the Bitter and a couple of others ,
Walker`s : Variations on Bitter & 1 brewing of Falstaff
Cheers ,
Edd

Wouldn't mind having a gander at the Ind Coop/Allsop recipes.
How Do ,
here`s the beer list for the Allsopp`s / Ind Coope Ledger from ALLSOPP`S (BURTON ON TRENT) Brewery , not the IND COOPE( Burton or , Romford) breweries .
If you can let me know what your kit`s like , efficiency and brewlength , i`ll send you the recipie(s) !!(could you let me know the general malts & hops available over there?)

Hi ,
If any of you happy mashers want UK recipies, pop me an email to eddbrewer6@gmail. com , I'll send a few lists of Breweries that I've got records of , and then you can pick a beer, I'll be doing the conversions based on a 30 litre kit with 75% mash efficiency,
Cheers ,
Edd
