Hi all, good looking forum. I’ve been stalking it for a while now and thought I’d join the crew. I’ve been doing AG brews for about a year. Nothing fancy, old gas burner, 38L crab pot and a nylon bag, but I’ve turned out some great beer. I’ve been mostly brewing stouts and porters the last month or two. It’s been freezing in Melbourne, stout weather.

So much info and experience on here. So much to learn!

I’m doin the crab pot too, but with an electric element and a controller.
Weather has been great for keeping the fermentation under control and I should be doing my first stout on Sunday with the aim or keeping it until next winter. Wish me luck!

FYI Home make it have recently had their shipment of grain so are fully stocked.
