Hello Gents (and maybe a few Ladies I suppose),
I am a third generation brewer (my Granddad used to work at brewery in England and it was his job each morning to scoop the vermin, [rats, mice and cockroaches]) off the top of the vats. Anyway, I've only ever used cans as a base and added several things to it to produce some pretty decent beers at times. But now, I have come to the conclusion that it is time I grew up as a Brewer and start brewing from scratch. To this end, I have planted some cascade hops, which are just about ready to start harvesting. I also have a supply of light and dark dried malts also. Look forward to chatting with the people on here.
