Hi All,
I currently have a mash on using allot of adjuncts. Had allot of trouble with temps and polenta dough balls.
Mash has been on for an hour and the current gravity is 1.036 @ 64C
What is the best way to rescue my brew if possible?
Was thinking of boiling the crap out of it to get the gravity up and just not have as much beer?
Any ideas?
Nick

What HoppinMad said. I do the same, happy with the result. The alternative is a smaller batch. Who came up with a pre-ordained batch size anyway?

It's probably a bit late now... but assuming you're using a hydrometer, the higher the temperature of the wort when you measure it, the lower your gravity will appear. What pre-boil gravity were you aiming for?

so 1.036 @ 64c is around 1.054 @ 20c
