Hi Brewers,
I have a keg that is in need of some TLC – by the looks of it.
I was putting some new seals in it when I noticed weird things …
Will let the photos tell the tale.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what that weird rubbery bit is in Pic 2 and Pic 5?
It came out of the bottom (where the seal goes) of the Gas In line.
Looks like the Beer Out seal (Pic 4) is a bit worse for wear too.
I assume that it is a ball lock type keg – happy for guidance otherwise, also if anyone can see some problems with it.
Again, I assume, that standard seals would be ok for a refit, or would there be other sneaky seals that will be needed?
