Just joined up and wanted to saying hello to everyone. I've used this forum heaps so thought it was about time to jump on. As I've transitioned from kit based brewing to BIAB and kegging, this forum has answered about every question I could think of.

I'm based in Hobart and brew kit based (75%) and BIAB (25%) and am really enjoying brewing at the moment. I'm also enjoying drinking. The BIAB results are far superior, but it takes me about 5 hours from go to wo. While an enjoyable 5 hours, isn't overly wife/kid friendly

I'm based in Howrah on the eastern shore of Hobart.

It's probably in the last 5 years or so that Hobart pubs and bottleshops have started stocking local and imported craft/international beers. I think once beer drinkers evolve from commercial lagers to these, home brewing is the logic next step
