G'day,
I've been reading a lot here recently, and have posted a few times so I thought i'd better introduce myself. I live currently in North Queensland, but have travelled around this fine country of ours a bit. I cracked out my first homebrew almost 20yrs ago when I was 17 as a way to get cheap booze. I've learnt a lot since then, and am now all grain- as I put it, I no longer Homebrew, I make beer at home! I've just made my 1st lager, but up until then it's been ales.
I'll also ferment anything else that yeast will have a go at. Recently I've been making cider from apples juiced in a Kmart juicer- it's amazing what you can get when you tell the wife it's for her!!!
Next up for me in the fermenter will be a stout for winter.
I look forward to any advice given, and hope to share some of the nuggets that i've learned the hard way.
Cheers,
RB.
