Hi all my name is Justin and I'm from Bendigo in northern Victoria. I've brewed before (strictly from cans) but that was a long time ago; inspired recently to get back into it when I went to a new little craft brewery / bar here and realised that I could brew 23+ litres for the same price as three pints out!
Did my first two brews out of a can, but have bitten the bullet and started all-grain brewing with a Tripel (even made my own Belgian candi!) and a chocolate porter (that is ... shall we say richer than it should be as I rounded up my grains ... 8kg in a 23 litre batch!).
Still brewing in an electric urn but hopefully will be upgrading my equipment soon. Still have lots to learn, I haven't even begun to address pH concerns yet!
