That decorated mash tun is rubbish - I could do better than that myself
I got some slippers and chocolates; can't really complain.

I RANG MY DAD AND ASKED HIM KINDLY TO TURN CAPS LOCK DOWN.

Also rang my dad who just came out of hospital (and things all look good) and my brother (who is a father) to wish them all the best.

Brewed two batches for me and both of them. (them honorarily because I'll be drinking the bulk of it).

I got a italian spiral burner well not really as I bought it and I ordered it and used it yesterday but misses made the most of it and said heres your fathers day present lol. I did get a few t shirts and dvds to so guess it all was good haha

A great day to be a dad (then again, isn't any?)

Got Merc's Cooking with Beer, An Idiot Abroad DVD, my fave EDT & BO Basher (Emporio Armani he), some choc coated coffee beans, and a cool little fridge magnet from my daughters daycare - my son's must've gone awol.
Top that off with a nice lunch at the Bavarian, a couple of beers reading the papers in the backyard while the family dozed off full stomachs, reading books with the kids and then chilling out with a Kiwi Barley Wine (cheers Barls!).

Beer and coffee for me.

Looking forward to trying the mixed 10 pack - I love the gift but love the fact more that he put thought and effort into picking all the beers

1 down 9 to go.

mmmmmmmmmmmm.

oh and more goodies 500 Beers book and more coffee

"Dinosaur" footprint from my 5 year old and a measuring tape that reads "Super Dad" and a photo of my 7 year old with a banner "I love my dad". A kick in the nether region in the morning from the mussus to go cook the pancakes for the kids. And she was so lovely when we first got married...

Great day lots of homemade pressies from my 4yo daughter.
Then in the arvo to top it off we bottled a brew together, she does the artwork on the labels!

A few self made presents from the 2 year old, some lovely picky food from the wife (oysters, artichokes, kranskies, mettwurst, cheeses, turkey, olives and lots more) and a few beers selected by... myself.
That's exactly what I wanted, not more not less.

Started with a Mikkeller Jacky Brown, then Sierra Nevada Porter, followed by a Chimay Blue and now a Haandbic fruit lambic.

A kegging starter kit, a decorated apron from kindy, and a number of hand drawn pictures of me, most of which appear to have a beer in them

I scored an "all you can eat" buffet breakfast at the Casino,
Merc's Cooking with Beer book,
12 month subscription to Better homes & Gardens magazine,
Something else that is apparently still in the mail but should come this week,
My mum gave me an Electric Hoist which should come this week as well.

I spent the day painting my freezer, drilling holes for taps and varnishing the collar.

All in all, no complaining here. :icon_cheers:

Slab of Stone & Wood Pacific ale here. Cant wait till this arvo to knock back afew of these.

Good idea with the decorations! You will remember for ever when you got your mash tun.

Happy Dad's Day All!
love these. happy fathers day to all.

Classic!

Seriously though, how good is it to have a dad who brews aswell! Awesome. Atleast i have one person on this planet that understands all my excitement about all things brewing.

And on that note, happy father's day for yest'y "Old Farts Brauhaus"!
