Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the people I met in Sydney through homebrewing and all that they have taught and insired me to do. The network here really is amazing. I have been very fortunate to have tasted some very nice brews from some fantastic brewers(Trev, Linz, Doc, Duff just to name a few) I have also been fortunate to have visited some of Sydneys finest Ale houses and try many an ale, as well as many a story of brewing and a laugh.

This week a new chapter begins in my life and I will soon be proud to call myself a South Australian. I have been lucky enough that work has sent me to Adelaide for a couple of years. I am sure that whilst there I will meet many a great brewer and enjoy many a fine ales. Something I am certainly looking forward to. So the next time you hear from me it will be when I am no longer living in the smog and living the good life that Adelaide surely has to offer.

I would just like to say thanks to Trev, Linz, Little Squares, Doc, Duff, Petesbrew, Barls, Hooky, Pumpy, Franko, Les the wiezguy, Dane(of course for a fantastic site), Redbeard, Tseay, Phrak, Thommo and many more I am sure I have forgotten(sorry) For you guys and girl :p Have certainly had an influence on my time in Sydney, be it tasting your fantastic brews or learning some of the tricks of the trade. Many many Cheers

Who knows, if things turn out right I may be sharing a brew with a few of you in April for the AHB pub crawl. ;) And to the guys in Adelaide I look forward to meeting you.

Cheers

You are welcome up at the BrewInn ...

Have a caravan here for overnighters...

A good Bar with 6 beers on tap...

Next BBC meeting is the long weekend in march - 1st friday Night of the month

Without being soppy or sentimental, I'd like to state that it's been great meeting you (and your partner, of course). You have a good attitude, and that always helps.

I hope you get on well in SA, as I think they understand NewSouthWelshmen there. You can always ask for a NSW schooner at the Grand in Glenelg.

Get yourself to the Port Dock brewery and the Gulf Brewery (of course). If U like Brit ales, you'll be OK in the city, with Brit theme pubs. Also, find a pub with Southwark stout on tap, or have some Coopers Dark ale.

Just don't drink the water, undiluted by malt and hops, anyway!

Expect a visit one day. :beerbang:

Seth out :p

All the very best to you HK will have your Yellamo Brewery logo for you real soon.
Franko

Hey HK,

Hope the relocation goes well, and I'm sure you will have many to share the obsession with in SA. They may not have the great quality Dubbel's you can get on tap in Sydney ....... :p

Beers,
Doc

Good luck with the job change.

At least you know you are going to a city with a very active and friendly HB fraternity.

Pound for pound, I reckon the Crow Eaters are probably the most prolific participants on the forum.

As an Expat South Aussie, I can assure you that it is not such a bad place to live. (My work did the opposite to me - forced me out instead of in

Aaaaah the memories...... Pink pig, Old Lion, Queens Head, Casino, Pie Cart, Crazy horse, some fuzzy memory bits, terrible hangover. :p

Repeat....

All the best,

Festa

It was good meeting you and trying your brews at Doc's. The Liquorice Stout was great, and I won't ever forget that Liquorice-tainted pilsener!

Welcome to South OZ HK,

Due to prolonged reno's I have Zilch on Tap nor do my brewing skills lend me to giving (any worthwhile) advice. However drop me a line for a beer or 3 at a number of good pubs.

Start Saying Crows not Geelong and you will be fine!!!!!

Cheers BDB
