All they require to be used are 3/4"->5/8" male/male pipe nipples (x2) and your beer line adapters (recommend these), and a filter cartridge.

Are they brand new mate?

No, surplus from a dental surgery refurb I worked on recently, all they did was clean up the mains water (20mic to 1mic to carbon), filters were changed every 3 weeks regardless of loading.
