I am now fermenting at a steady 19!

I can't explain the amount of affection I have for this little thing... it is slightly embarrassing.

I think I will also possibly be using it in the cold with my electric blanket.

Just be careful that you aren't picking up the temperature of the blanket not the fermenter. What i did was cover the probe with a neoprene tinny holder cut open, layed flat and taped to the side of the fermenter. Then shove the probe under it.

I ferment in a fridge whether it's cold or hot but when it's cold i wrap it in a couple of towels and use a heat pad. Works well for me.
