Brewers,

on this delightful sunny afternoon I've found myself in the shed for a summer clean out. I've uncovered my old glycol chiller and the time has come for it to go.

It was working fine until switched off for a few days some years ago. When back on it simply didn't cool down anymore. I'm guessing it needs to be regassed. I got one ridiculous quote from someone and shoved it in the back of the shed.

When it was working it easily froze my flooded font.

It was originally used in Grumpy's in SA, I'm the second owner since they retired it. I've since used the digital controller for other things in the brewery so it would at the minimum need an STC1000 or similar plus a regas.

It has a 50 litre capacity (for glycol and water mix).

At the bare minimum, it has some nice stainless sheeting on it, and the cooling piping inside is copper. So it has useful scrap value, even if it can't be resurrected.

Strictly pickup only from Sherbrooke (near Olinda and Sassafras) in the Dandenong Ranges.

I'll take expressions of interest via PM.

cheers, Arnie
