I've had a few Beer books in my possession for a while now and thought I may as well share with you guys who might be interested.

The first is titled: Beer - Health and Nutrition by Charles W. Bamforth
the second is titled: Beer - Tap Into the Art and Science of Brewing - Charles W Bamforth

I hope you'll find them interesting. I did.

Cheers Quantocks. Downloaded them both for some holiday reading.
Thats a good site for file hosting. I will have to remember that one in the future.

sorry for the confusion, if you hover the mouse over the book title in my original post click it and the books will be downloaded in a PDF style.

I read Bamforth's Tap Into the Art and Science of Brewing a couple of years ago. Definitely more a technical read but a good one, imo. Recommended.

My virus program told me there is a virus/worm in the "Tap into the art and science of brewing" download from the download site.

cheers

Browndog

EDIT, just tried it again after Wambisi's post and it came up all clear, downloaded the files and did a scan on each and there was no probs, so I don't know what the story is there. I use AVAST Antivirus.

I have scanned with NOD32 and no virus detected, not sure what went on for you Browndog :|

Cheers Quantocks,

have added them to my library.

My virus checker was happy with it btw.

Yes, when I went back the second time there was no warnings at all. Strange indeed.

Brewers,

I'm having a little trouble with Beer-Tap-Into-the Art-and-Science- of-Brewing. Adobe Reader v8.1 will not open the file although it will open Beer-Health-and-Nutrition.
Got any ideas?

you need to unRAR one of them Pete,

you'll need to get a program called WinRAR, once that's installed right click the file and select 'Extract Here'

and then you'll have a .PDF that will open in Adobe.

you can get it anywhere, or their website here http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar380.exe
