Dead set bargain at $300.

If I hadn't just insured the house, cars and my health in the last month I'd be all over it.

Bugger, looks like I'm too late (again)!!!

Shouldn't have thought about it for so long.

Awesome bargain! I doubt you could buy the sticker for that price.

A quick sale is a good sale

Sold within the hour :)

We have a dilemma. I got a pm from Jd first. But dave commented in the thread first. What should I do guys. Will one stand aside. I know rules is usually first pm.

Cage fight. Winner takes all.

A forum I frequent has an etiquette to post an offer or intent in the thread for all to see to avoid confusion. You can still keep your offer between the two parties if required.

That said you still have the odd post with the same date / time stamp but rarely happens.

From my point of view; if the PM bid was earlier and an offer was was made within the PM @ or above your requested price then that would be the winner. If it was just a "I'm interested PM" with the option to haggle then the forum post "with a confirmed offer" would win.

If they both expressed interest but no offer - No idea... first gets to buy it at said $ before you offer it to the other?

In the end your sale, your choice I guess.

Thanks elcarter.the pm was an I will buy it today offer. I have pmed both parties and come to a resolution I hope. A peace offering has been made to the unlucky party. I should have been clearer in the original post. Didn't think it would go so quickly though.

I wouldn't get all sexed up over it.

You can buy a big pot / keg and do some cutting / welding and best of all call it your own! It "should" still hold liquid and perform the function to brew beer.

My welding sucks so won't look as cool, possibly yours won't either but the pursuit was hard earned and something to be proud of.

Aghh who am I kidding, it had a sparge arm an temp dial indicator and false bottom you cant make that **** for less :D
