Fish tank vs brew siphon

Ok what is the difference between a siphon that is marketed for brew and a siphon that is marketed for something like fishtanks? There certainly is a price difference $20 vs $5.

I'm not sure if your aware, but you can use a garden hose if you wish. A siphon tube is literally........ A tube/hose.

I personally use beer line, well it's bigger then beer line, it's about 10mm clear plastic tube....

Head to your local hardware shop, be cheaper than $5, you'll only need a metre or so...

The siphon in the link has cheap vinyl tube. It would be cheaper to buy 1.5m of vinyl tubing from Clarks.
If you're buying 1.5m of tubing, may as well buy 1.5m of silicon tubing instead. Food safe and will last forever. (give or take)
