0 minute additions don't spend any time in a rolling boil. Basically you turn off your heat source and throw in your hops. Put the lid on, walk away, finishing sanitising, whatever. Then strain into your fermenter with everything else, mate.
Cheers.

You add it when you take it off the boil. But you don't strain into the fermenter until its cooled down. So even if you can chill it quickly, the 0 minute hops are still in the kettle for a while.

Edit: whoops. Too late.

yep turn heat off put it in, then put the pot into sink of water or cool as normal. If you slow chill you wont get the same effect When I slow chilled they where always more bitter and little flavour or aroma but since using a immersion chiller (doing 21-42lt full boil batches) bitterness is alot better and get more flavour into the beer

I'll be doing a 5L boil, and after mixing that with chilled water up to 23L it will be the right temp to pitch yeast anyway, so won't need to cool it much.
