Film on cider?

Gday all, I brewed a mangrove jacks cider a couple months back.
One thing I've noticed is that when poured the cider has an oily film on top. At first I thought it was a dirty glass but it's been consistent through the whole batch. Still tastes fine. Any ideas what's causing it?

I'm planning on doing a pear cider for Xmas so want to avoid it if possible

If it was wine I'd say it was probably grape seed oil from over-extractive processing. I don't know if the same thing* occurs in cider but it seems likely. If so, it's not a big problem in and of itself but the processing that caused it might create some coarseness in flavour.


* Obviously apple seed, not grape seed.
