I use a little peice of hard plastic tubing (about an inch long) that fits inside the snap tap nice and snugg and attach the racking tube to that.all the snap taps I've seen are very tapered (ie. thin at the bottom and grow fatter towards the top). how do you get the hose to stay put? looks like hose clamps would be useless
Must be a different tap to what I use.i thought that would be the go as well, but they don't fit on the coopers sytle fermenters (fatter shorter
as compared to taller narrower) the bit after the thread is a bit bulky.

Easy to take apart and they dont unscrew when you open them, plus you can point them upwards and fill the end with sanitiser before you run anything out of the fermenter.
:lol: You're right Rob they are good taps. Only problem I used to have with them is the round plate at the front which the tap bit connects to tended to always leak around the interface for some reason. :blink:
I'll sit in the no taps/no interference camp. Sucking on a siphon rocks. :beerbang:
