I checked CB and I can't find sea biscuits anywhere. No wonder my beer isn't as good as I want it to be!

They don't mention a boiling or sparging stage. Strange. However the idea of steeping the hops and preserving the 'essential oils' and pouring the liquor in at 70 degrees is exactly what I've been experimenting with. And it works brilliantly - the buggers have beaten me to it by a few hundred years. <_<
