Esb 3kg Apa

All and Sundry,
I am about to do my first 3Kg American Pale Ale paint tin (Has been recommended to me as the best of the 3Kg range), and I would like to add some extra hops to the fermenter. Here are my options:

EKG
Hallertau
Hersbrucker
Cascade (US)
POR
Fuggles


I guess the Cascade is the obvious choice. I was wondering if any or a combination of the others would be a beneficial addition?


All suggestions/recommendations welcomed. (As long as they are anatomically possible)

I've just brewed one of these and am waiting for a couple more weeks before getting into it (still a tad rough around the edges). I used one cascade plug in the fermenter and one in a hop bag in the keg. From the taste test it seems alright (still needs to mellow down a bit as I said), but if you must put more hops in why not try bit of hallertau to soften the cascade? I don't think the english ones would do much for the cascade, and would the POR be too overpowering?

That beer will already have a distinct cascade finish that will pretty much overpower any other variety you add.
However as cascade is a fuggles cross/derivative it may just work if you add 1 gram per litre as a late addition of fuggles.I have done bitters with Fuggles,and also Willamette(another fuggles derivative) from back to front and always find a muted citrus character in fuggles and a perfectly balanced orangey/citrus character in Willamette(My Fave).

Couldn't go past Cascade on this one.

Goldings are a safe hop, they go alright in just about anything.

On the more experimental side; Pinch of Pride of Rings flowers (or pinching the ringy), to give it a bit of a OZ boost. Easy does it with this one.
