Hey all, am I throwing this wort. Element blew 30 min into boil. Can I cube it and boil when I have new element?

Fylp, I reckon you have to go for it instead of dumping.

Admittedly, I did something nearly similar that didn't turn out well, but all you have to lose now is the cost of your yeast.

Be brave and cube it.

Cheers and all the best of Bristish.

I had a good look and boil was close to 45min. So I went a massive cube hop.

We'll see I guess.

Thanks for the input. I'm glad I didn't dump it when I was mid dummy spit.

45 min will just give you bitterness, it will be down a few IBU but not to much.

I would take some out and do you 15 & 5 min additions in a pot then pour it back into the cube

Probably turn into a great beer and you'll wonder how to replicate it in the future ;)

I've done a few experimental 30 minute boils and they worked out ok.

My last stout was 35mins then into cube. Tastes fine.
