New chestie - $300
Font - $100 (absolute min)
Reg - $100
Total: $500
Ebay kegmate delivered minus money you get after selling CUB couplers; about $520
My 2 cents
In that comparison, would you also have to add the price of some form of temperature controller to the chest freezer?
Kegs are just a dream for me at the moment but I'm starting to do my homework in advance.
I got a near new F&P 270L all-fridge from eBay for $152 than runs like a dream, looks great and only has the footprint of a bar fridge. No thermostat required, just use the fridge one. Holds 2 kegs, plus conditioning cube, plus a stack of hops, plus some bottles & glasses too. Second fridge I've scored from eBay now. Last one was a 400+L upside down fridge freezer that has been running fine as our main house fridge for the past 3 years. It cost $180. It pays to do your homework and take your time waiting for the right one to come along.

I wonder if they actually are Kegmate's?I'd definitely go for the kegmate-like flat-door ones on eBay.
would I do it again? no, I spent a lot of money. sure i'll make it back, but not for many years!
Out of curiosity, I emailed the bloke that's selling them on Ebay and he confirmed that they are actually kegmate units.Well I bit the bullet and ordered one of the Kegmate styke ones from ebay last night. They do look very, very similar to the kegmate units. Wouldn't be surprised if they came from the same factory. Can't wait to have kegs on for Christmas.
