Dusseldorf Trip

Howdy AHB legends.

I am about to embark on a very rushed Dusseldorf trip funded by my work.

Any hints and tips from anyone who has been there? I guess I will be an expert on Alt bier upon my return.


Any hints will be incredibly well received.

The old town has several good alt bier pubs and the Schumacher brewery / bier house is a couple of streets from the main train station.

Been there twice. Uerige, Schmacher and Schlssel were my favourites and all in the Altstadt. Not the prettiest town, but great beer culture.

Forgot to mention, definitely take the train to Koln (Cologne), as it's only 20 or so minutes away.
