hi all
I am boiling my wort now, do i need to strain it before i put it into my fermenter?

You don't need to, but it's better to. Leaving those hops (especially the later additions) in the fermenter is kinda like dry hopping.

Worst case is they can block your tap at bottling, or add a "grassy" taste.
 
ahhh crap! knew i should... oh well i will see how it goes!
i will try for a shorter time in the fermenter before kegging...

True, but best case, it tastes awesome!

I haven['t used hop bags in my last 6 or so brews and it's really not like dry hopping at all. It all settles out and so long as your trub isn't too big (as your doing extract it shouldn't be a problem) your tap will be fine.

You may find some debris in your hydro samples until fermentation settles down and your yeast/excess hops drop out but it's not an issue. If you like to taste your samples (I do!) just throw the first 30ml dirty sample away and carefully draw off some more.
