Cleaning out my hops dish and decided to use the last of the Czech Saaz (3.3% flowers) and Hersbrucker (plugs 3.7%) in a type of Grolsch clone. Was considering only one addition at boil for both hops. Would they go together or should they be separated into a first and second addition.

Cheers, Hoges.

hey hogan,
I made a brew alot like this but used the saaz in the last 5mins and it turned out great..

hockers

I don't think it will make too much difference as your only adding both at the 60 min stage.

If you had some more a mix of the 2 at the 15 min park would be nice. I do this with the normal halleratu going for around 1.25 grams per litre. (half/half saaz/halleratu)

Either way it will be a super easy drinking beer, perfect for the coming summer months watching the cricket.

I quite often do 50:50 blended additions of hops....
Hal:Saaz blend being one of my faveourite

go for it
Asher for now

Seems that the "I's" have it. Thanks guys. Brew day tomorrow.

Cheers, Hoges.
