I was reading another thread about cube hopping and hop tea which seems like a way people cover up for the loss of flavour/aroma from no chilling, when I wondered if hop oils are driven off when cube hopping, where do they go?

There's not much head space in cube, and even if they did all go in there, surely they would settle back in the wort as it cooled?

Just wondering really.

I've recently started using whole flowers in the cube t flameout. Jesus Christ the first one with Galaxy is aroma heaven

As you add the hops before the wort, volatile aroma can be driven off with the vented air as the cube fills.

It isn't really an issue that I've faced often though, I've been plenty happy on many brews with the aroma and often I've not even keg hopped. (Many times I have too)

So add the hops after filling the cube and no issues at all?

Just tried that, but not side by side do no way to prove anything.
