Hi, I am upgrading my mill, so I have a corona mill to give away, I am based on the Gold Coast.

If your willing to post i will love it long time, i would pay of course. couldnt see it being more than $20

GAH i hate you slow typing

Top stuff banora brewer.
Someone buy that man a beer.

Are corona mills any good? Is the only drawback time or is the crush not so good?

Hey Banora Brewer, or any other users of these mills, can we get some feedback on what they're like to use?

I'm seriously considering one for my move to AG (my budget is VERY tight).

I have a handy imports corona mill and I can't stand it, to the point I haven't brewed in 2 months because I'm waiting on my new mill to arrive.

I got it because I was trying to get in to bulk buying grain to keep my brews cheap but it it more worthwhile saving a little more and getting a decent purpose built mill IMO.

Care to elaborate?

I am not sure who I bought my Corona mill of on ebay but I am pretty sure I only payed $60-$70. It does the job and I can't justify buying another when I have the corona there but if I did it again I would spend the extra cash and get a mini mill as stainless would be a lot easier to clean.

Over all it does the job.

Pain to clean, takes forever to crack 5kg, poor crack tends to be either flour or non cracked leading to poor efficiency, build quality seems low. More than enough negatives for me to recommend saving more and getting a proper mill instead of spending $60 on a ebay job.

I've been using one for at least two years. When I finally motorise the other mill I have, I will be hanging onto my corona for any emergencies.

Trusty if you don't mind a bit of physical work and easy to change the crush. Takes me about 20 mins to do 5 kg and I can make flour, whole grain or crushed nuts consistency. Have put wheat and oat malt through it as well as regular barley malt. Maybe the handy imports ones are like their stainless posts but mine does the job no dramas.

I paid roughly 50 + postage on ebay.

just milled 5kg and really happy with this mill, couple minutes of tweaking had a grist similar to the LBS, as Mant mentioned above, about 20 minutes work,
