Hi,
I'm wanting to try A-gain one day so I'm casually looking around for equipment on the scrounge. Today I came across a copper tank used in a water cooler unit. I think it would hold around 60L which is ideal from what ive read.
Is copper okay? I'm assuming it is and the only reason it isn't used more is cost. Also as its had stale water in it with all the minerals settling on the bottom, any cleaning advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Copper is great, and very traditional.
Yes very expensive these days.

As for cleaning, pretty much most cleansers except for bleach.

Just did a search and Palmer has some great info here

Percarbonate in Australia from memory is readily available as Napisan. Get a scent free version.

Beers,
Doc
