Thinking of trying a blend of 2/3 real ale 1/3 Coopers Tins and some Amber Malt..Am I crazy or would this work?

Did you mean '2/3 real ale 1/3 Coopers stout Tins ?

If so it sounds like it will make a decently bittered dark ale. Certainly not crazy but what will you do with the rest of the tins? Why not make a toucan dark ale/porter and add in the amber malt? I'd throw in a teeny bit of sugar (maybe 200g) to stop it being cloying.

Thank you to you both ..Will give it a go.
Cheers!

Going to do 60 litres 1 can stout two cans of real ale and a couple cans of amber malt bit of sugar.
