Connection help for wort chiller

Hi guys

I have searched everywhere for a answer but I can't find anything. Apologies if I missed it here.

I have a 3/8 SS wort chiller that I want to get some compression fittings for although I don't know what to buy.

Can someone tell me what I need to buy, I don't mind you send me bunnings links etc I just don't know what to buy.

I just hose clamped the hose directly to the chiller. Worked a treat, although I no chill now.

I don't think they sell 3/8 copper tube at Bunnings so they probably don't have the fittings either. I got the compression fittings for my immersion chiller from a plumbing supplies shop.One side was a compression fitting to suit my tube and the other was a female 12mm thread. I then added these so that I can just click the hoses on and off. https://www.bunnings.com.au/holman-12mm-brass-sprinkler-adapter_p3110589 (These are in the garden hose section)

I may be headed down that path also, one thing I am missing adding hops to the no chill and getting the extra bitterness, is the extra bitterness. Not good for the comps, though I may like them others don't.

I use ½" copper coil for my immersion chiller. I just connected garden hose with 2 hose clamps at each end. Have not had a leak in 10 years from it.
My hose & tap fittings otherwise are from Hoselink. https://www.hoselink.com.au/ no affiliation etc etc

Cheers, I tried this but my 3/8 or 9.5mm SS coils were too small for the standard 12mm garden hose.

Try a John Guest Superseal fitting 3/8" x 3/8" like this one:

The threaded end at the left of the pic goes over the coil. Then push a 3/8" x 1/2" tube to hose fitting like this one into the other end:

Then push your 1/2" garden hose over the barb and clamp. (Pic is 1/2" by 3/8" but they make them the other way around as well)

Then Bob is your mother's brother...

What about silver soldering a piece of 1/2" copper tubing onto the stainless, then take it from there.
