Every time I've taken the Perlicks off for a clean they already are! Can't say the same about the other taps

All I do is spray the Perlicks with some starsan at the end of the night, first the nozzle, then up the nozzle then put the cap on. This keeps them clean as a whistle

Where did you get these tap/nozzle caps from? Did they come with your perlicks or did you order/make them yourself?

That same company has this one for $480 on Ebay with Dorado taps - flow control too. The fright calculator shows $87 to the Gold Coast, much the same up your way I guess.

Is that the same Kegerator?
