Hi guy's before you flame me i've just done a number of searches but can't find the answer i'm after (and i'm wearing kevlar undies anyway LoL)

I'm setting up my kegerator, home made out of an old fridge and I've seen most people place their CO2 outside the fridge (I have seen some guys with their bottles inside however)

My questions are:
Can the CO2 go safely inside the fridge?

What if any are the adverse effects? (I thought the cold might affect the regulators reading?)

Before I drill a hole in the side wall of the fridge, is there likely to be a power or cooling line in there that i have to be careful not to hit? (I've seen a video where a guy mixes up some flour and water or something, turns the fridge on then smears the mix where he wants to drill in order to find the cooling lines?)

Thanks in advance for all your help, I'm going to a bit of trouble with this kegerator so i'll post videos and pics soon I hope you all like it as much as i'll like drinking from it!

I have 2 co2 cylinders and 2 regulators living in fridges.
have not seen any down side of doing so thus far...
I was not keen on drilling holes in my fridges.

Your fridge will almost certainly have a condensation drain. See if you can't thread the gas line through there.

Easier and safer than drilling, in my view.

I would think that the biggest down-side to putting the CO2 cylinder in the fridge is the space it consumes, but condensation might not help your reg.
